Private lessons are offered for all levels, from Beginner to Grade X of the Royal Conservatory of Music, plus preparation for RCM piano and theory exams

Studio Rates are $20 per 30 minutes, $35 per 60 minutes

In Your Home $25 per 30 minutes, $40 per 60 minutes

Piano Student Guidelines

• I use the Boris Berlin, Alfred and RCM Celebration series of books for children, teens and adults.
• Students are responsible for tuition, books and exam fees
• 4 weeks notice is required for a student cancellation
• Teaching schedule is weekly from Sept to June. No lessons March Break (1 week), Christmas (2 weeks), Halloween. No lessons throughout July and August.
• Tuition is for lesson time held for student, not a fee for services rendered. A missed lesson is a missed lesson. At the end of the month you pay for lessons scheduled, not for lessons attended.
• Tuition is to be paid at beginning of each month, cheque or cash, no refunds.
• Students must have an acoustic piano or a touch sensitive digital piano with minimum 61 keys at home for practice.
• 24 hour notice is required for missed lessons. I will allow 2 missed lesssons per Sept- June, after that the student will be charged.
• Payment will be forefeited for last minute cancellations.
• Vacation, scheduling issues require 2 weeks notice.
• Any lessons cancelled by teacher (snowstorm, illness) will be made up the following month.
• I reserve the right to remove any student who does not comply with these policies.
